Join one of the world's most ambitious wellness destinations, a world-class center in Abu Dhabi where clinical excellence meets holistic care. It's a fully integrated therapeutic ecosystem designed to restore function, reclaim independence, and redefine quality of life for a remarkably diverse, high-expectation client base.
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll carry a full caseload across individual and group modalities, co-design functional rehabilitation programs with physicians, psychologists, and wellness specialists, and own your specialty completely, from assessment through discharge planning. You'll bridge the clinical and the everyday, making the case consistently that occupation isn't just what people do. It's who they are.
What You'll Focus On
- Deliver individual and group OT sessions across a diverse client population — adults navigating neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, mental health challenges, chronic illness, and age-related functional decline.
- Conduct thorough functional and occupational assessments: ADLs, IADLs, cognitive function, sensory processing, and environmental barriers.
- Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans in close collaboration with psychiatrists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and wellness coaches.
- Recommend and source adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications tailored to each client's life context.
- Develop structured group programs, vocational reintegration, stress and energy management, cognitive rehabilitation, and lifestyle redesign.
- Contribute to the center's broader programming: executive wellness retreats, community workshops, and regional outreach initiatives.
- Maintain clinical documentation to the highest standard, including assessments, progress notes, outcome measures, and discharge summaries.
- Mentor junior staff or OT interns and contribute to clinical supervision where relevant.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed and in good standing with a recognised regulatory body (HAAD/DOH, HCPC, AOTA, or equivalent international credential).
- 4–8 years of clinical experience — ideally spanning physical rehabilitation, mental health, or integrative wellness settings.
- Fluent across assessment tools: MOHO, COPM, FIM, AMPS, MoCA — you pick the right lens for each client, not the most convenient one.
- Clinically rigorous: clean documentation, outcome-driven practice, and a genuine command of evidence-based literature.
- A skilled collaborator who integrates seamlessly into multidisciplinary teams and elevates the people around them.
- Culturally intelligent — you've worked with diverse populations and adapt your therapeutic approach with genuine sensitivity.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of clinical depth and lifestyle medicine — this client base demands both.
- Arabic language skills a plus, though not required.
- UAE experience or a serious appetite for relocating to Abu Dhabi is essential.
